Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants should meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comply with the laws and regulations of mainland China and uphold high standards of academic integrity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Born on or after <strong>January 1, 1986<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold a doctoral degree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specialize in natural sciences, engineering, or related fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have held a formal academic or research position at an overseas university, research institute, or R&amp;D organization for <strong>at least 36 consecutive months<\/strong> after completing the PhD (exceptions may apply for outstanding candidates)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate recognized research achievements and strong potential for leadership in their field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not yet employed full-time in mainland China, or have returned after <strong>January 1, 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful candidates must resign from overseas positions and work full-time in mainland China for <strong>at least 3 years<\/strong> upon receiving the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.
